As a result of the latest cancellations for the upcoming Spanish Open (02.-04.10) we received a message from the tournament organizer that we can reopen the registration for this tournament.

The current WFGA Board has made it one of its highest priorities to further professionalise the World Footballgolf Association and prepare it for the challenges and opportunities of the years ahead.

Dear Footballgolf Family , first of all we are glad to inform you that we found an attractive substitute for the International Matchplay tournament in October, which will take place on the same date (16.-18.10.2026) in Verona/Italy.

Yesterday we received a surprising message that the course owner of “Fussballgolf Obermain”, has decided to cancel the International Matchplay tournament.

Now as the registration period is closed we know the actual number of players and can finally tell you some details about the tournament schedule next week.
